This is the shorter version of the 4-day Inca Jungle trail. This tour was created for those looking for more adventurous activities such as cycling, rafting, and zip lining. This version of the Inca Jungle Trail skips a day of hiking, without sacrificing any of the adventure, and ends at the same magical destination: Machu Picchu, the glorious Lost City of the Incas.

Keep in mind;   that there will be   hikers of different abilities and different languages   ​​in your Inca Jungle Trail group  . Our guides are highly experienced and will work to meet the needs of all our hikers in a safe and friendly manner.   • DAY 01: Cusco – “Abra Malaga” – Santa Maria (Biking and Rafting).
  • DAY 02: Santa Teresa (Zip Line) – Aguas Calientes Town.
  • DAY 03: Machu Picchu – Cusco.
DAY 01: CUSCO – “ABRA MALAGA” – SANTA MARIA (BIKING AND RAFTING)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 am in our private transportation and we will travel for an average of four hours to reach Carrizales or San Luis where we will begin our adventure. On the way we will pass through “Abra Málaga” which is at 4,300 meters above sea level. We will go down by bike for an average of three hours to Santa María where we will have lunch. Along the way, we will see the typical vegetation of a cloud forest, appreciating coffee plantations and coca leaves, until we reach the town of Santa María where we will spend the night in a guest house.
This day in the afternoon, we will have the option of rafting for 1 hour and a half on the Vilcanota River (Class III, IV).

DAY 02: SANTA TERESA (ZIP LINE) – VILLAGE OF AGUAS CALIENTES.

AM after our breakfast, we will take our car to Santa Teresa for about 40 minutes. This morning, we will have the opportunity to do Canopy or Zip Line (monkey tail).
Then we will walk for 2 hours, we will observe coffee, coca and fruit plantations such as banana, orange, avocado, mango and we will observe some waterfalls, finally we will be able to see the mountain of Machu Picchu, then we will go to Hidroeléctrica where we will have lunch, then we will walk for 02 hours but next to the railway line until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night in a cozy hotel.

DAY 03: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Very early after breakfast (approximately 5:00 am) we will begin the ascent for an hour’s walk to the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, this way we can be one of the first groups inside the Inka city which will allow us to enjoy the majestic sunrise, then we will have a guided tour of the most important Inka temples and palaces within the citadel of Machu Picchu, together with your guide for approximately 02 hours, then you can explore the mysterious Inka city on your own. (Optional to climb Huaynapicchu mountain extra cost $35 USD per person).
At the appropriate time we will descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes to board our return train to Ollantaytambo and from there by car to Cusco, our average time to arrive in Cusco will be 8:00 PM, and then we will transfer you to your respective hotels.
